Taxpayers never pick up the tab for surrogate mothers, nor for adoption, so you have nothing to worry about.
There are tens of thousands of gay and lesbian parents in this country raising their own biological children, too. People seem to think that homosexuals are incapable of procreation, but the vast majority actually have fully functional reproductive systems.
Tens of thousands more have adopted children, and are raising them as well.
I think the ';finish line'; for gays is to be treated just like anyone else, and have the same rights. At the moment, the social and legal decks are still stacked against them. In many places, it is still legal to fire a worker for being gay, to evict a person from his apartment for being gay, or to deny custody rights to a gay parent.
That's not right.
If homosexuals gain the right to marriage, it won't be long before pedophiles gain the right to be married to children, those who love their pets will gain the right to be married to their poodle, and a person who feels it is perfectly right for a man to have two wives or more, will also be given that right.
There will be no end to the perverse entitlement attitude that homosexuals currently have.
Right now some 13 year old redneck girl is getting knocked up by her cousin. Right now some 16 year old inner city gangsta thug is impregnating his *****. Right now some fine upstanding businessman's condom broke while he was cheating on his wife with a prostitute. These unwanted babies are already draining your tax dollars. And if these children are abandoned, they will need stable, loving homes. And that will require people who are willing to adopt.
But your ';suspicion'; is not really about your tax money, is it? It's about your bigotry.
By the way, if it were only the homosexuals trying to succeed in the marriage debate, nothing would be happening. It's people of all walks of life that recognize a gap in equal rights that are moving this debate forward.
if evolution is true and being a homosexual is normal then we probably would have evolved so men could be with men and women with women, but that pesky evolution just didnt allow for it for some reason, maybe that will be the next step in evolution maybe millions of years from now we will evolve to make babies naturally with the same sex
I know a gay couple who used a surrogate to have their children. Paid out of pocket full with no complaints 50,000 bucks to have someone carry their child. Thank lord I have a uterus, an uncle whose a IVF specialist, and male friends.
Homosexuals have kids all the time. A gay man will marry a lesbian and, in a way that doesn't require sex, he will impregnate her. You see this a lot in the suburbs. They pretend to be heterosexuals.

Most non-stone age places already give them the right to raise families and for some reason I don't see homophobes rushing into orphanages to make sure TEH GAY don't adopt all the children.
